Existence and Life

The blog serves as a place for reflection. The "philosophical" essence of this discourse centers around ontology - the study of being. This blog aims to stir rumination on life's larger truths that underlie day-to-day existence.

For discretion's sake, specific identifiers have been omitted. A humble online inquiry would fully illuminate the character of references made.

Please don't be put off by unfamiliar words - take this as a chance to learn. Look past surface difficulties to the underlying insights on offer.

This blog post touches on concepts related to the topic of "FULLNESS OF TIME". Within these pages lie fragments of thoughts on matters not often contemplated. For those open-minded enough to persevere to the end, a peek into this perspective may begin to emerge. Patience and an open intellect are recommended to derive even partial meaning from echoes of ideas. This ideas in this blog post are written in white text on a black background. The Invisible force

Let's start with this interesting fact from higher education. While it may seem trivial at first glance, it contains a profound contradiction worth exploring.

Do you know that theorem (which is proposition proved by a chain of reasoning) is a mathematical term than it is scientific term? Most of the things we learn in science are theory - a supposition or a system of ideas intended to explain something, an idea for justifying something. You can even take Gravity as an example.

One great scientific mind to ever live in this world said this:

In general we look for new law by the following process. First we guess it. Then we compute the consequences of the guess to see what it would imply and then we compare those computation results to experiment or experience, compare it directly with observation to see if it works… therefore it’s not unscientific to take a guess, although many people who are not in science think it is... That is the way that is scientific. It is scientific only to say what is more likely and less likely and not to be proving all the time possible or impossible… and we always tried to guess the most likely explanation... with this method we can disprove any definite theory.

Notice, however, we never prove it right. Suppose that you invent a good guess, calculate the consequences to discover that big consequence that you calculate agrees with experiment. The theory is then right? No, it is simply not proved wrong. In the future you could compute a wider range of consequences, there could be a wider range of experiments, and you might then discover that the thing is wrong.

That is why laws like Newton's laws for the motion of planets last such a long time. He guessed the law of gravitation, calculated all kinds of consequences for the system and so on, compared them with experiment - and it took several hundred years before the slight error of the motion of Mercury was observed. During all that time the theory had not been proved wrong, and could be taken temporarily to be right. But it could never be proved right; because tomorrow's experiment might succeed in proving wrong what you thought was right. We never are definitely right, we can only be sure we are wrong.

We are trying to prove ourselves wrong as quickly as possible, because only in that way can we find progress.

Another thing I must point out is that you cannot prove a vague theory wrong. If the guess that you make is poorly expressed and rather vague, and the method that you use for figuring out the consequences is a little vague then you see that this theory is good, it cannot be proved wrong! …You will be horrified to hear that we have examples in physics of exactly the same kind.

…this jockeying around, this 'feeling' way of guessing at the results, is the beginning of any science.

As it is pointed out above, our understanding of reality from scientific research and findings lies in the conclusion drawn from the findings, basing it as ultimate truth.

If you notice in physics, most of big breakthroughs that occurred before the 20th century was with younger people because they haven’t been in the system long enough to understand what is impossible. They still are open minded, they still can think outside the box, they haven’t got educated enough not to be able to do that. `

Science comes from "a foolish questioning" of our sense of awareness in this reality. The scientific man is saying science is not about what is right but only what has been wrong (and yet not accurately so).

You can say that science is for the time. It is the exploitation of the world, it is not the closing of the knowledge book of this world. Through science, the modernity of the age is reached. This doesn’t mean it is the end of modernity; Anyone can still explore and enrich the modernity that defines the next age.

Science is the curiosity, the seeking of knowledge in making sense of the world. It is built out of speculation. You can say that the discipline of science is the mastery of doubt.

In terms of knowledge, science is to give us better sense and control of our reality. Science can be our justification for what we may or may not know so that we have a command on what we see. but it can also give insight that we are living in the "world of wonders". Because it is in the "wonders" of the reality to get you amazed, curious and be in charge of. While puzzles persist, appreciation grows for mysteries that motivate inquiry at existence's ever-unfolding marvel.

Moreso, the divine poses mysteries - from where did the creator originate? Explaining the unexplainable confounds human reason and it is an attempt to control the uncontrollable, to  grasp the ungraspable. Reality's true beginnings defy logical comprehension, for its unfolding was/is "a kind of miracle". A miracle demands no rationale, it requires embracing forces beyond formulae.

Perhaps our mortal sight falls short. If seeing is but sensing surface indications of depths unplumbed, what appears commonplace may mask deeper wonders unguessed.

''Natural beauty'' is for everyone of us to appreciate. The grace inherent in nature's forms points to a creator possessing benevolent qualities we associate with compassion. Where laws govern with care for sustaining life yet allowing freedom, a gently guiding hand seems present.

The findings of science, if traced to their root, imply our very existence defies normal expectations. The precise calibrations allowing order, complexity and the emergence of sentient life aware to even study nature is an outlier by all standard probabilities.

If there was a Genesis of Science, it would tell you “In the beginning you are a mistake and the universe is an absolute error. The faintest possibility ever cannot realize you! Everything is wrong with your reality.” This is how science could explain order and perfection of our universe and the functionality of our reality. Science claim about our reality is ‘it is impossible to be real’.

Science studies the uncertainties of our world. Science is the ultimate measure of disorder (absolute entropy).  For instance Corona virus can be attributed as an element of science to the world and its systems. But we should also say that science is the modernity standard. Science sharpens our age.

Bare with me as we take another interesting fact from higher education again. This time from the biological field of study:

Do you know the theory of evolution is about how time perfected our reality, not created our reality?

The Thorndike Dictionary puts Science this way: Science is knowledge gained by observation proven by experimentation and demonstration, refined by classification. Human evolution is theory based on observation but no one can demonstrate the transformation of humans. The demonstration is rather theoretical. Human evolution is the knowledge of our world. We call it the scientific knowledge of the world.  It is the good theory that cannot be proven wrong, as it is discussed above.

In knowledge there is no discrimination weather false or truth, as long as the false is justifiable or inferable. In terms of knowledge, falsehood is not outcasted abomination. In some cases, false is taken as necessary evil. Truth may not always be the accepted thing.

Knowledge can even reason to you: "If the false does not come with truth, If falsehood comes out and say 'I am false', does that not make it true? what is the point of falsehood then? "

For whatever the cause: False + Truth is the knowledge of the world.

The Logic of Reality

Reason points out that to declare oneself an "atheist" requires a certainty of knowledge. In a world of such profound mysteries, only a fool is convinced all is unveiled. A wiser stance acknowledges the vast realms of the unknown before denying even the possibility of transcendent truths. In a world where our deepest science scratches but surface layers of creation's depths, proclaiming awareness of all that exists appears arrogant.

As one great personality noted:

“There is nothing called an atheist. There is only a fool who thinks they know everything. Because an atheist is basically someone who says God doesn’t exist. And they say they know. Let us just say they don’t know. If they don’t know they become an agnostic. An agnostic is someone who says I really don’t know. But if you say you know, yet you only know 2% of the entire world’s information. Yet from the 98% you don’t know, you don’t want to fit God inside. So you are a denier. You are never an atheist. There is nobody called an atheist who lives on earth today. They just deny their ignorance.”

Religion and the Quest to Define the Infinite

In principle, debating God's existence ultimately proves fruitless. Reaching theoretical positions affirming or denying such concepts misses the point if true experience remains absent. Defining reality through mental proofs alone fails to unveil what transcends intellect.

Examining faiths globally reveals common threads ringing deeply within many souls: reflection between eternal inquiries imprinted in humanity and doctrine representing spirituality into organized philosophical knowledge.

During eras favoring reason over mysticism, spiritual insights intuitively grasped, found expression through religion, codifying inner experiences into teaching. Today's major belief systems codify revelations once deemed unimaginable into principles of virtues.

“The concept of religion was formed in the 16th and 17th centuries, despite the fact that ancient sacred texts like the Bible, the Quran, and others did not have a word or even a concept of religion in the original languages and neither did the people or the cultures in which these sacred texts were written.” Wikipedia

Every religion function in what can be call fear-dom. Fear and awe are our instinctual reactions to knowledge of the world.

Religion is the world (approach to) understand the spiritual. Religion is the world claiming God. (Claiming means state or assert that something is the case, typically without providing evidence)

Rather than arriving at opinions, the aim should be embarking on a journey where innate awareness awakens to all that sustains it. Speculation obtains little until experience carries the discussion forward into revelations; transforming those who seeks to understand.

The creator has created a communication conscious in us. Our communication with our context builds our conscious.

God cannot expect us out of the communication design he has made in us (in terms of knowledge, God cannot expect you out of the philosophy of being human). In fact, one may deduce that God shall be one of the choices so that one can choose as a free moral agent.  And "God" who cannot claim us is not worth our devotion.

Humans are a ‘believe beings'.  Our beliefs define the very contours of consciousness when the reality comes into focus. For any construct of truth to take root, it must find fertile soil within the fields of our awareness.

One perspective holds that the divine essence charging all reality could be termed the omnipresent awareness and presence embodied fully in sacred figure called the messiah.

For example, let’s take Christianity: when one says ‘God has a son’ it is the construct of the belief in Christianity, but it is not that God has an actual son that he gave birth to. Its symbolic language aims not to scientifically prove reproduction within the godhead, but to cultivate mindsets befitting that faith's values and vision. It serves to metaphorically convey Christianity's particular lens for perceiving divinity.

Without finding the truth you cannot serve the true God. Yet the reality essence exist beyond what sense-bound reason can deduce. The truth lies in the deep communication and understanding of the reality. In terms of knowledge, reality's layer that goes beyond appearances and observations could be termed metaphysical or "philosophical".

The formulated systems of belief serve as such; it is a necessity for awakening our awareness. Through the framework religion provides revelation that actualizes within our conscious experience. That is why the construction of the belief is necessary, for realization of our conscious. It is the way we know the truth and the way we relate with it; the way we believe in it.

To frame it through language of learned discourse, belief equates to metaphysics - truth's way of engaging a world. It is unspeakable or even contemptible.  That is the reason why holy text says Sara laughed, considering the "silliness" of the matter. But faith provides the key by which divinity's fingerprint upon existence comes into focus for earnest souls.

Perhaps in religion's symbolic frameworks reside portals beyond what science may ever bring to light concerning existence's core and humanity's place within the grand design. And belief is the means for its revelation within the soul that seeks communion with eternal spring of all there is.

Understanding the spiritual reality requires the construct of truth to the world or the "philosophical" aspect. If you get mixed up with this, you may end up being the knowledge rhetoric of this world. For instance, according to holy texts, before the Messiah, there was God. How can his presence and awareness predate his existence? God is not something we know by defining him in knowledge terms. God is not theory.

Reality Index

How well do you understand that Words are the testament of existence? It is only through pact we connect to the future. And through (the past) pacts are how we realize who is real or not. Covenant is the real measurement in our existential reality. The real God’s word defines stability in our ever changing and evolving reality.

Time is the real science. (Time will tell). In learning from time (history) you are learning the real science of the reality.

FULLNESS OF TIME

In terms of intellectual inquiry, the study of existence could be viewed as a futile philosophic experiment. Meanwhile, the purest shape that science assumes is none other than what the passage of time brings. Yet the scholarly chronicles of existence- the blend of philosophy and history (as the synthesis of science) - frequently get categorized by our allegedly "scientific societies" as mere myths/mythology. How curious that mythology forms the core ingredient of every religion.

It seems our everyday lives emerge within a reality crafted to appear demonized through relentless information propagation by the media. Perhaps what some label science is better understood as the exploration of outward appearances - the skin-deep aspects of existence - with deeper dimensions left unexplored.

Is not the wisdom of truth in perceiving reality as far more than what "facts" alone convey from one fleeting moment to the next? There may yet be inspiration to uncover by contemplating history and religious faith through lenses wiser than those of any single era.

One of the queries concerning discernment is by what manifestation of the divine (or by which mythology) we each feel most deeply shaped and selected. For there exist diverse doctrines aiming to bring order, significance and a sense of righteousness to our lived experience, Which system of faith resonates most compellingly due to its coherent perspective on life's inquiries?

Some faiths develop their perspectives - their "philosophies" or "mythologies" if you will - to heights of internally consistent symbolic resonance far surpassing others. The question is, which God has "the strongest philosophy’’ or “the strongest mythology” so to speak? There is evidence to it, there are testimonials to it.

On the other hand, there is the question of significance and consistency in terms of the mythology from historic perspective, which answers the scientific soundness aspect of the faith. As scientific evidence are repeatable and provable so shall the mythological rhetoric reflect through timeless evidence and relevance. The real God is the greatest history writer throughout the ages.

Most of you might have been well acquainted with the ''mythology'' of Christianity but what do you know about Islamic mythology? At least for the sake of knowledge, you are recommended to check both. In terms of knowledge, Islam is the philosophy of correctness. Knowledge refers this as the philosophical correctness of the world.

One takeaway of the discussion thus far is that your faith should be based on the "history of God", that is reflected in the deeper narratives and mythological rhetoric or folklore pertaining to the concept of the divine or transcendent.  Exploring faith through engaging with its underlying mythic origins, rather than any one doctrine, could offer a more nuanced perspective on spiritual questions.

The Structure

Truth that is not incarnated or embodied (into what can be called “knowledge being”) is no more than a fantasy. According to the discussion thus far, if your “truth” (or your mythological rhetoric) can’t communicate or prove its reality then it is your baseless "science" or your accepted knowledge- your philosophy of truth.

A philosopher is a human trying to make sense of the world. However, the world is in no obligation to be subdued under "his way of understanding" or to function as he supposes the reality. As human beings, we read to find our values and beliefs rather than learning to find truth.

FULLNESS OF TIME

While intellect applies itself diligently to matters of learning, the inmost reaches of our being escape its grasp. You can formally call the mind the superego scientific conscious. It is conscious that won't attend to your spirituality or the instinctual self.

The mind is the authority where you get your sense of knowledge. We reflect from our present (from our immediate future present) to our conscious.

The gap in awareness between the real you and the scientific or religious you is what create fear and reverential anxiety. (The adjective reverential comes close to implying worship).

God can't require us to live in truth when the truth is not in reality.

Philosophic mind: "I can create and claim this is my God and this is my religion and justify it to be my truth."

Scientific reality: You can, but there is no theoretical reality.  What cannot claim you, does not exist. It doesn't hold truth. The world is refining you to your true identity.

While intellect remains ever inquisitive, the unquantifiable nature of spirit risks appearing simplistic through rational lenses. For the reasoning mindset exists bound tightly by this world's laws, seeking definitions for all things encountered.

Yet if you remove spiritual dimensions entirely from view whenever your thought constructs scientific frameworks, may you not become like test subjects for knowledge regimes to experiment upon, your inner depths left untapped? Take for example the assertion "seeing is believing" - a statement that endorses solely what stands up under logical scrutiny. But does this knowledge not risk limiting reality to surface evaluations alone, judging books by covers while leaving interiors unplumbed?

Whatever that don't stand the test of time is under knowledge.

As we have pointed out, Covenant is the measurement of our existential reality, loyalty is a spiritual word. That is why, in religion, we deduce faith in God's word is a relationship with God.

To have a better understanding, let's consider the game of the world– politics.

We live in the world of choice. The future may not yet be a solid reality, but we hold it in the form of pact with our choice; in the form of hope that the promises will be kept. In principle, the loyal; the ones who keep their promises get the choice of the people.

Let us think of a perfect party that never failed in history. The party has been chosen by the people from beginning of time. The people would develop a certain faith in the party that it will never fail them.

Faith is a graduated hope. Hope is a graduated Wish.

Now, what is missing in the reality for the absence of such faith in the world? You may say, there’s no such party or political figure and even if there was such party, Death will limit their time.  You can say death is the ultimate weakness of the reality.

So as long as there is death, there won’t be embodiment of truth that can win time and time again. If there is no embodiment of truth, how can you know if you are serving the truth? Is it not doomed to be your baseless "science" or an accepted knowledge; your philosophy of truth?

The embodiment of truth should be real, above and beyond death; the real one that everyone can rely on.

Your belief in Jesus Christ could have been a belief without basis but surely God is communicating with you. Jesus's death and resurrection is a testament that he is the perfecter of our reality. In this world of knowledge, Jesus can be taken as the emblem of freedom and the truth of the existential reality. He is the communication conscious of God. The bible is also the great “mythology” of all time.

A 'man of the people’ once stated “Forget the fact that you are a Christian or non-Christian, or you are atheist or foolish. Let’s just deal with the historicity of Jesus. He was actually a Gentleman that lived in Israel. That is a fact …Did he die? The record are clear he did. Was he accused under Pontius Pilate? It is right there in the history of Israel. Read the books of Josephus. Read the Josephus, the antiquity of the Jews. The people that used to live at the time, he was the keeper of the records of the temple and he writes “and there was then another man, if it be right to call him a man, his name was Jesus Christ.” He says “he did so many miracles and from there rose a group called the Christians or the people of the way. And to this day they exist and they believe he was still alive for he rose on the 3rd day.” This is a Jew who does not even believe in Christianity; only history, nothing to do with spiritual.”

Since God's word, is not knowledge of the world, you can access his word through social communication of God's people.  The reality is we don’t seem to need the truth. And we remain to be ignorant. Know that you are living in an imperfect world.

God's word is to know him in faith; to make him the perfecter of our own reality. Accept Jesus and live in the future.

Whose are you? Are you on the side of God? It looks as if the preaching of today we are preaching in favor of the devil. The word 'Good News' used in the new testament by Jesus (ወንጌል) from its source, has the sense of something too good to be true. (Luke 4 : 17) He was provoking "the truth" of this world

It is something too good when you hear it, you will say "no that seems unlikely; that is too good." Don't allow your scientific or religious mind  be on the way of receiving God's grace. By God’s gospel grace, prostitutes can be saved today, arm robbers can be saved today. John 1 v 17 ---the grace and truth came only by Jesus.

However, there are many churches today whose real heavenly high priest of the church is John the Baptist and not Jesus Christ. Yet John barely made it to heaven (Luke7:28). It is by the grace of Christ, not by power not by might as the word says. The bible says if righteousness will come by the law, then Christ died for nothing.

We are not that good, but Christ is good for us.

Faith?

faith is Will + Spirit.

The will (ነፃ ፈቃድ) is to believe and obey. It is the real you. The spirit is the word of God. The word of God is the real foundation.

In simple terms, faith is the realistic version of what we hope from God (according to his word).

We know God by faith. Faith is not a mental asset or your imagination. Faith is your communication language with God.

It’s not persuasion but conversion (Change) that brings you to reality of God. Christianity is not knowledge. But in the world, it is taken as the application of knowledge. Today we are having only-Sunday Christians. This is as a result of the history of man vs knowledge. It ends up becoming a culture to many churches, a futile ritual.

Since you are living in the world of knowledge you should constantly redeem yourself from the time and renew your mind by the word of God. All things are new for those who are in Christ. Once again it is not by might, but by his spirit as the word says. Pray to God for his spirit to guide you in all truth.

As there are real Christians and knowledge Christians, there are knowledge churches and true churches.  The true churches are testimonials to the word of God you read in the bible; that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Watch SCOAN and/or ITVN from internet to get the picture. The links are at the end of the blog.

You may be asking "Will God ever consider my small faith or prayer of my silly life?"

Being born again is as easy as ABC - Accept, Believe and Confess. In the realm of the spirit it is already shifting.

But God is not one of those things in our lives. Continually growing in the grace of God (2Petter 3:18); in the understanding of the truth is necessary. Remember you are living in the world of knowledge but God promised he will never leave you nor forsake you.

God is awareness. You can pray were ever you are. You can be standing or kneeling down, you can pray this prayer:

"God, I accept your lordship over me and my life in the name of Jesus Christ. I accept your sign of Christ Jesus for the salivation of my soul and for the freedom of my spirit. He is the lord and savior. I confess it with my mouse. As the bible says, if you believe in your heart the lordship of Jesus Christ and declare it with your mouth, you are born again, born of the spirit of God. God, please give me your grace to continually be renewed in the truth of the word of God and to live in the spirit of God in Jesus name."

At last, bitterness and holding offense are the strongholds of spiritual you. Don't allow things to get into your nerves for Jesus has broken the seriousness of the world by love, the barrier is broken. Jesus forgives all who sinned against him even at the cross of agony. Pray to God to give you the grace of Christ to forgive and forget.
